Reconnect with body, breath & inner peace

Join our guided yoga and meditation sessions in one of Morocco's most serene settings—the blue-washed rooftops of Chefchaouen. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our certified instructors create a welcoming space for you to reconnect with your body and mind.

Through breathwork, gentle stretching, and mindfulness practices, each session is designed to cultivate calm, flexibility, and a deep sense of presence.

    Wellness above the blue city

Our rooftop yoga space offers panoramic views of the Rif mountains and Chefchaouen's iconic blue medina. Sunrise and sunset sessions make for an unforgettable experience.

Yoga in Chefchaouen is a different beast. Imagine unrolling your mat on a tadelakt rooftop, the call to prayer rising from the medina below, the sun painting the blue walls in shades of gold, and the Rif mountains on the horizon. This is the setting we offer six days a week, with certified instructors trained in international 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher programs.

Our classes are intentionally small (max 8 people) so every student receives individual attention. We teach Hatha for grounding and alignment, Vinyasa for a moving meditation, Yin for deep fascia release, restorative yoga for travelers recovering from long days, and pranayama (breathwork) for stress regulation. All levels are welcome — beginners are not just tolerated, they are warmly guided through each posture.

Guided meditation sessions of 30 to 60 minutes are also available, including silent sitting, body scans, mindfulness practice and Sufi-inspired heart-centered meditation, honoring the spiritual heritage of Chefchaouen as a city founded by Sufi mystics in the 15th century.

For a deeper experience, we organize half-day and full-day yoga retreats that combine 2-3 yoga sessions, guided meditation, a journaling workshop, a healthy Moroccan lunch and an optional float therapy or hammam treatment. Private sessions are available for couples, small groups and traveling families. Many of our students discover their first taste of consistent yoga practice here in Chefchaouen and continue at home — there is something about practicing above the Blue City that makes the lessons stick.

Why practice yoga & meditation in Chefchaouen

    Reduces stress & anxiety

Breathwork and mindful movement lower cortisol and activate the parasympathetic nervous system — proven by decades of clinical research.

    Improves sleep quality

Even a single evening session helps regulate the circadian rhythm — perfect for travelers fighting jet lag in Morocco.

    Increases flexibility & posture

Hours of travel, sitting in cars or behind a screen damage posture. Daily yoga gradually rebuilds spine length, hip mobility and shoulder freedom.

    Cultivates focus & creativity

Meditation literally rewires the brain, increasing gray-matter density in attention and decision-making areas.

    Calms the digestive system

Twists, breathwork and stress reduction support healthier digestion — useful for travelers adapting to new cuisine.

    Connects you to Chefchaouen's spirit

Practicing on a blue rooftop with the call to prayer rising from the medina is unforgettable — and it deepens every other moment of your stay.
