How to Get from Fès to Chefchaouen
Fès is approximately 128 km from Chefchaouen. The journey takes about 4 hours and passes through the Rif foothills. Fès also has an international airport, making it a popular gateway to Chefchaouen.
By Bus
About 4 hours for approximately 75 MAD (~€7.50) via CTM. The first bus departs at 8:00 and arrives at 12:00. The second bus departs at 11:00 and arrives at 15:00.
By Car
About 3.5 hours by car. Take the main road: Fès → Oulad Jerrar → Jorf El Melha → Ouazzane → Rihana → Derdara → Chefchaouen. The road is scenic but winding through the mountains.
