How to Get from Marrakech to Chefchaouen
Marrakech is approximately 580 km from Chefchaouen. It's the longest common route but very doable. The journey takes about 7 hours by car via the highway through Casablanca and Rabat.
By Bus
About 10-12 hours via CTM with a transfer in either Casablanca or Fès. Direct buses are rare. We recommend breaking the journey or choosing an alternative transport method.
By Car
About 7 hours by car. Take the highway from Marrakech to Casablanca, then continue north on the highway towards Rabat and Tanger. Exit at Asilah and follow the N2 to Chefchaouen via Tétouan.
By Train
Take the train from Marrakech to Tanger (about 5 hours via Casablanca). From Tanger, take a bus or taxi to Chefchaouen (2.5-3 hours). Total journey: ~8-9 hours.
By Plane
Fly from Marrakech (RAK) to Tanger (TNG) — about 1 hour flight. From Tanger airport, take transport to Chefchaouen (~2.5 hours). Total: ~4-5 hours including airport time.

Parking in Chefchaouen
Several parking lots are available near the medina. Prices range from 10-20 MAD per day.
